Happy New Year! 2010 is here...pinch.
Last night was a blast body painting down at Vinyl in Denver for NYE 2010. The models were great to work with and so was my fellow painter Wiser. We rocked the house and provided them with models that were painted as planets, seven in all excluding the Earth and Pluto, which is no longer a planet!
I set a new personal record of 45 min. per model, with chest and face designs. It is always a challenge to paint based upon a theme and see how many different designs that I can come up with. My next goal is to paint in under 30 min., however less time = less detail. Painting for time is a little trick and personal challenge for self-improvement that I learned as a house painter when I was starting out in the trades. So now I have a new personal best that will keep me on my toes with future gigs.
I also want to recognize the support of Tiffany and her mom who came down from Greeley to check out the action and ended up becoming fans of body painting and of me. Blush!!! They were great to have out to the event and hung in there through it all. I think Tiffany took a shine to being Model Mom and helping some of the girls out with their head dresses and such.
Stay tuned for more events and feel free to friend me on my profiles or leave comments on my blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

End of the Year
Up and Running
The new site is up and running at DunningDesigns.com, after working on other peoples sites this year I made the deadline of 12/23 before my domain renewal ran out. It was about time after three years to get a comprehensive portfolio of my work online. Enjoy the Holidays! (my daughter is beckoning me to help her with a ginger bread house) So off I go!

Art and Social Media
It is the dawning of a new day and a new era in networking and communication. Though the galleries remain the physical doors into the art world; I believe that now with Social Media we
are on the edge of how business will be conducted in the future. No more brick and mortar, no more walls to scale, ceilings to bump up against, it is all about who you are plain and simple.
The emperors clothes are off and we are looking at the naked truth of ourselves. Pure liberation.
Liberation of spirit, of self, of community, of business, of the planet for the greater good of all.
Ok! So get out there and Tweet away, show your Face, Link in with a friend get connected and get real. Thanks for listening to my rant. For more on Social media check out:

The Life of Art
I wanted to start this blog off with some quirky ideas rumbling around in my head about art.
What is art?
How do you know art?
What about art?
These are some typical questions that get bounced around in my classes.
On a less serious note:
Keep Art happy!
Give Art a chance.
Art needs a home.
Where is Art?
These tend to give Art a persona and treat Art as a person.
Talk to Art.
Who is Art anyway.
Why is Art contagious?
Where does Art live?
Art deserves better.
Art cares.
Art's got game.
Please add to this list of catchy phrases related to Art!
